Do you shoot digitally or with film?
I shoot with either or a combination, to ensure the best
possible images. We will assess together the features
that are most important to you.
With digital, I shoot with a professional 35mm SLR digital camera, capturing the highest-possible resolution files. I use professional photo-capture software to prepare the images for presentation and printing. Images can be rendered in colour, black and white or sepia.
For film, I use professional-quality colour and black and white film, size 35mm and the larger format 120mm portrait film, processed the traditional way at a professional lab.
Are the negatives ours to keep?
Yes, a year after your wedding day, you may have the high-resolution digital files and/or the film negatives.
Will we see the images soon after our wedding?
Yes, the images can be viewed online, on screen, as prints and in a slideshow.
Is the copyright transferred to us?
Copyright always remains with Kirsten Hepburn Photography,
but the rights to unlimited personal use are licensed to
you.
Do you work with an assistant and/or second shooter?
I always work with an assistant or second shooter if the
scope of your wedding calls for it; or if I need to be in
two places at once.
What selection of wedding albums do you offer?
For display, I offer a wide selection of high-quality albums:
classic matted albums, magazine-style albums, coffee table
books and presentation boxes.
Do you take engagement and bridal portraits?
Yes. I have discovered some wonderful locations
for portraits - both in urban and natural settings. The
portrait session provides a great opportunity for us to
become acquainted.
Will you travel to remote and distant places?
Absolutely.
